Not having a Pharmacist on the premises affects full Pharmaceutical services and can cause considerable disruption for both patients and staff. It also counts as a breach of our terms of service and Head Office needs to be advised in all cases in order to notify NHS England with regard to our contractual obligations. It is imperative that if a Pharmacist is unable to cover a booked shift (eg is feeling unwell or needs to report a delayed arrival due to traffic etc), they contact Head Office asap.
The Locum Oncall phone is kept switched on 24/7 and, whilst not answered 24/7, it is carried by HR personnel and any messages left can be dealt with promptly at the appropriate juncture. Please do not call/text any contact number other than the above, as these will not be correct. Any other numbers contacted may not get a response and any messages left will get missed! Many thanks. |
